During the Middle Ages, before the cannons were invented, the most common and popular mood to shoot a projectile was the trebuchet. However, everyplace the course of the years trebuchets have lost their popularity. We decided to learn it back! The over in all goal for this project is to build a trebuchet in order to rescue our very experience Gryphy, the school mascot. For example, at first we had decided to have a much wider base in order to delay the trebuchet from tipping over onto its side due to the forces exerted by the throwing arm.
